Beer At The Barbers and Delayed Party

BATB
Some of you may recall that during Lockdown 3 we did a series of live broadcasts online called Beer At The Barbers. Initially the basic premise was that we could have a beer together in a socially distanced manner and chew the fat. Then we started inviting people on to join us (musicians, brewers etc) and it was in danger of becoming quite good. LOL
Tonight (Thu 18 Aug) we are going to do it again. Joining us will be Arron from the LS11 podcast and Turnbull from York based band Skylights. Join us for a catch up from the comfort of your armchair. Crack open a beer (or other beverage of your choice) and join in. There will be prizes for the best question/contribution.
PARTY

We shall be having our much delayed relaunch party on Thu 1 Sep, 7-10pm. Yes...I know it's a school night but hey-ho....it's the prekend!!! It has been delayed due to work on an elusive leak as well as delays in other aspects of the shop being refitted.
Expect music, licensed bar and food. We shall also be trying to raise money for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. This will include bar profits and a raffle and/or auction (TBC). You can read more here: https://www.dec.org.uk/appeal/ukraine-humanitarian-appeal
TWO'S UP IS BACK!!!

The Two's Up deal is back on Fresha for you to take advantage of. Any two people can book haircuts together for a combined fee of £30 saving £10 per visit.
This is available Tuesday to Saturday. Must be two clients visiting at the same time. Can not be combined with other offers.
CRAFT BEER
We currently have a range of beers from Amity Brewery and Horsforth Brewery in stock. We also intend to stock up with beers from Bad Brew Co from Dishforth, N Yorks in the near future.
STAFF
We have experienced several changes in staffing levels since our return to the shop. Esmee left to pursue a career away from barbering, then Callum joined and a few weeks later Jimmy left. While we wish Esmee and Jimmy all the best in whatever they choose to do next, we are looking to the future and will hopefully build on past successes by recruiting the best staff we can. This is why we only employ staff and we don't work on commission only or rent-a-chair. Although it increases risk on our part, it is part of a plan to attract and retain the best staff. We understand that people don't like change, but please continue to support us as the business evolves. It is tough to see people leave just because their favourite barber is not available.
WINNER WINNER
The winner of our July Google review draw was Kevin Coxey. Prize: Philip Nicholas T shirt and free haircut. Will it be YOU next time??
