Crash
For anyone who doesn't already know, we are currently located at Madison Offices due to a crash which happened on 17th June. To date, the suspect is currently on bail awaiting trial at Crown Court. The police are waiting for forensics, which apparently takes a very long time.
In the meantime, the rebuilding work keeps getting pushed back. The latest start date is 29th November and they anticipate finishing mid-December. We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts who has continued to support us at our temporary barbershop.
Farewell to Lee
In April, shortly before 'the crash', we doubled our wage bill in a bid to expand. Esmee's hours were increased, we re-hired Lee and we also hired Jimmy. Lee had worked for us previously, had always been a popular staff member and we were keen to take him back on to help us expand.
Sadly, the crash forced us to relocate to a location which is very much out of the way, denying us a high street presence and the opportunity to expand.
This has made our increased wage bill unsustainable and we regret that we have had to let Lee go, at least until we can get back on our feet properly.
We are pleased to be able to say he has found another job, albeit in another industry.
